A unique one-day workshop to kick-off the next phase of community development within the iLEAP alumni community, by cultivating string interpersonal relationships through a series of robotics coding challenges and the creation of an online group manifesto.
As a part of Microsoft’s global youth initiative, YouthSpark, Make It Creative developed a custom one-day program for youth in Fukuoka and Kamasishi. Students learnt the fundamentals of coding, and then put their newly acquired skills to use by programing a robot to navigate a series of obstacle courses. The day also featured a panel discussion with invited entrepreneurs sharing their experience of harnessing the power of IT for a better world.

This original 1-day workshop saw a group of young J-Wave radio fans join us for a fun but intense Design Thinking session in which they researched new program ideas, and then recorded professional commercials for their programs. J-Wave later created a 1-hour radio program about this session.
